Lakes, ponds and a river. Weather and ice decide exactly where we go — but this is the plan.
Arrival in Tampere
I pick you up at the airport and we drive to the base. Sauna in the evening — indoor and outdoor.
Pyhäjärvi, Säkylä
Holes in 4–6 m of water, vertical jigging. The region’s “fish vault” — a sure thing for perch in winter.

Ice holes and active searching with the sonar. The reason is simple: big perch.
Departure
Depending on your flight, a last morning session on the lake behind the house, then off to the airport.
The plan can change with the weather. Worst case, there is a lake literally right behind the house.
Cabin, sauna and a lake out back.

We all stay together at one base for the week. When the weather turns, we fish straight from the dock behind the house.

Apart from flights and insurance, everything is taken care of. Groups are max 8 people.

Before you decide, what people ask most.
01Do I need my own fishing gear?
No. Rods, reels and lures are included. Bring your favourite gear if you like — just keep in mind these are pike and perch waters.
02Is the trip suitable for beginners?
Yes. Groups are small (max 8 people) and I run the programme myself, so everyone gets attention — first-timers included.
03What fish will we catch?
Mainly pike and perch on lakes Pyhäjärvi, Kulovesi and Rautavesi and on the Kokemäenjoki river, where zander are on the cards too.
04How do I get to Finland?
You book your own flight — Prague ⇄ Tampere return is around 200 €. I pick you up at Tampere airport and drop you back there at the end.
05How does payment work?
When booking you pay a 30 % deposit by card (or the full amount); the balance is due 30 days before departure.
